Like the television show it's based on - "Reading Rainbow" - designed to instill a love of reading in kids, the movie enticed me to buy several children's books. This one is beautifully illustrated, has a terrific empowering story to tell, and actually made me cry a bit. Your kids will love it and you'll love reading it to them.
